U10 Rep Trials have big turnout |
A large group of hopeful 10 year olds trialed for limited positions in the 2008 FBI U11 Rep Season. Both Boys and Girls tried out their skills to get the magic circle on the Coaches clipboard to gain a selection into the 2008 Squad. The trials will continue for another 2 weeks at Martens Oval from 5pm on Mondays.
Football Bundaberg Chairman, Greg Bath, advises that "it will be far tougher for Players to be picked into FBI Rep Teams in 2008". He advises "that FBI is ensuring that the true tradition of Represenative Sport is upheld and that only the best should be picked, it is an elite end of the game and we should only have the elite in the Rep Team". Bath further advises that "the Coaches look for Players that have that something special that stands out, natural ability, ability to play with both feet and not just one and the tenacity and dicipline it takes to make it as a successful Represenative".
