Web Site:
- We have added the Coaches name and contact for each age group by Club thus allowing Coaches to easily call each other if there are problems with games, especially in Roo Ball Age Groups where weather can sometimes cause havoc with these Players.
Registrations:
- Club Registrars will have the opportunity to utilise 1 of the 2 special ACT Computers situated in the main meeting area of Admin. This area has now had blinds installed and is air conditioned. The 2 new computers are specifically for ACT use only and will be availabe throughout the Season. Just logon using your normal Registrar logon that you currently use. There is enough desk space for both computers for you to spreadout a little. it has also been designed so that you can stay late and lock up after you have finished.
ID, VHP & Gate Passes:
- Extensive changes have taken place in this area. Clubs no longer need to supply photos for passes, you will just need to go to the Clubhouse/Bar at designated times (will be released in early January 2008) to have your photo taken by a special camera and a plastic credit card will print out whilst you wait, you can also pay for these while you are waiting. The whole process takes about 3 minutes to do.
- Gate passes will now be a swipe card to open the electric gate to enter with a vehicle. These swipe card passes will be only given out to authorised vehicles as per the Authorised Vehicvle list published on this web site. In regards to Disability Parking, we have 3 disabled parks within the grounds at Martens Oval, passes for vehicle entry will be issued to disbaled Patrons who need these parks, just apply for this to the following email address, chairman@footballbundaberg.com.au or call 41500700 and leave details.
- Please note that ticket box attendants will not be able to open the electric vehicle gate, you will need your own pass to do this.
- This will commence for 2008 Winter Season.
Fields/Buildings:
- Field 4 is being extended to Senior size and put under flood light.
Teams:
- We have extended to Over 35 Senior Men's for the 2008 Kickoff. Players will have had to turn 35 before being allowed to play, it will be a 35 minute per half Competition.
- We have introduced U10 Girls for 2008, this will be a 7 a Side format.
- We are eagerly seeking to increase our Ladies Comp with Division 2 Ladies as well, this will be a 9 a side competition and will play Friday nights.
- Squirts have new Fields, just beside where they use to be, the format for Squirts has also been changed and this will be overseen by our Development Officer, "Mr Magic" Richard Mitchell. You may book and pay on line for this, bookings are already coming in so please get in early.
Hospitality:
- We have a new second mini Canteen, this is situated at the Southern end of the Grounds between Fields 6 and 5. It duplicates most of the food and drinks availabe at the main Canteen but is closer to the action on the Southern fields.
- The Clubhouse/Bar has extended it's dining facilities to enable DIners to watch games on Field 1 in a very nice undercover area.
Coaching:
- For the first time in many years Football Bundaberg have appointed a Development Officier, Mr. Richard Mitchell, the role of this Coach is to assist Coaches at Clubs. The Coach will be working with Coaches at their respective Clubs whilst the Coaches work with the Players thus developing the skill level of not only the Coach but also the Players.
