Season 2010 is a World Cup Year for our wonderful code. We will once again see an unprecedented focus on the World game with the largest television audiences of any time watching our Sport, Football.
Football is playing it's part in this Football bonanza, hoasting various high level Carnivals, games and training's as well as having regular State League Games at Martens Oval. In early July we will see Football Bundaberg's Festival of Football, we have invited Teams from all over the COuntry to come to Bundaberg and participate in our Festival. Keep your fingers crossed that this will turn into a regular annual event.
Football Bundaberg has gone ahead in leaps and bounds over the past few years. Our Development programs are World Class, under the direction of our own Development Manager, Richard Mitchell. With a State League Team based here at Martens Oval the future for Players is assured, with the ability to flow onto A league teams via the State League network. Our facilities at Martens Oval, though ageing, are the best in Queensland. We have 3 food areas where everything from a paddle pop to a quality plated meal with wine can be purchased, home made pizzas as well. Our Bar facilities are now fully air conditioned and pricing is very reasonable. We have our own retail store where Football equipment and clothing may be purchased from.
