Football Bundaberg Chaiman returned for 3 years

News >>

Greg Bath, Chairman of Football Bundaberg Inc, was returned to his position at the Annual General meeting held at Martens Oval last night. Also returned was Kim Tominich as Administration Director and Kerrie Price was ratified as Treasurer after her earlier appointment by Dr. Bath.

The audited figures showed the Members and others attending the meeting a strong financial stability at Football Bundaberg. Since Dr. Bath was appointed to the position some 3.5 years ago he has led a strong resurgence and growth at Martens Oval. Bath advised those attending the meeting last night that he and the Board would now be focusing on gaining monies to upgrade the Clubhouse and grandstands at Martens Oval as well as focusing on developing Coaches and Players at the Centre to the highest of levels at all age groups. The development process has already started with the appointment of Development Manager, Richard Mitchell aka "Mr Magic".

There is no doubt of the improvements at Martens Oval over recent times, it will be very interesting to see further growth over the ensuring 3 years and see how other Sports in the District handle this huge sleeping giant that is Football as it firmly is awoken locally by the Board, Chairman and Executive of Football Bundaberg.
